AAMI Park, Australia

AAMI Park, Australia

AAMI Park, Australia- AAMI Park has Victorians glowing with pride, lighting up Melbourne’s skyline each night with a spectacular lighting design. Although the capacity of the stadium isn't as big as the other stadiums with 30,000, this, in my opinion is the best stadium aesthetically. This stadium was used by the Melbourne football team in the A League and is most known for being one of the few stadiums to hold the 2015 AFC Asian Cup. The stadium has also been used for Rugby, holding the 2017 Rugby League World Cup and being used by Melbourne Rising back in 2014. The construction cost of this stadium was 268m euros and is one of the best places to visit in Australia.

AAMI Park provides a strong foundation for football and the league and union codes to develop their fan base, and cements Melbourne's claim as Australia's – if not the world's – sporting capital. AAMI Park's world class playing pitch and outstanding player facilities make it one of the best grounds to play on.

1. Beijing National Stadium, China- This stadium is the best stadium to go and visit as it the most beautiful and most creative stadium that has ever been created. The stadium is used for both the olympics and for football. The maximum capacity that the stadium holds is 91,000. The record attendance that this stadium has had is 89,102 in the 2008 olympics which saw Argentina face Nigeria. The ground was built in early 2008 with a construction cost of 2.3billion euros. This is one of the best stadiums that there are and probably is the best to visit with all the flashing lights and a never seen design that you will surely enjoy.

A FEW FACTS:
  • Construction was suspended in 2004 after complaints that it was costing too much. Some 9,000 seats, 12,000 tonnes of steel and the retractable roof were cut from the design. Further delayed for 14 weeks because, officials said, of the complexity of preparing for the opening ceremony.
  • After the olympic games it will became the home stadium of Beijing Guoan Football Club and an auction was held for the naming rights. It cost 40 to 50 million yuan ($5.72 million-$7.15 million) a year to run.
  • They used 42,000 tonnes of steel and involved the relocation of 4,707 residents from 2,043 households in the surrounding area. Image result for beijing national stadium inside

The stadium was one of the venues for the UEFA Euro 2012. The stadium hosted group D stage games and one quarter-final and one semi-final game (with the other matches in that group played at Kiev Olympic Stadium). Unlike most of the new stadiums that were being built in Poland and Ukraine to host the Euros, Donbass Arena was not specifically built for the tournament.
